Just a few minutes from downtown Florence, in a cozy and refined setting, our fresh egg pasta cooking class includes making stuffed tortelli, pappardelle and spaghetti alla chitarra. It is easy to make egg pasta, difficult is to get pasta that has texture, and does not break as we go to roll our noodles. We'll work on my big wooden pastry board, you'll have a station with the tools you need, we'll do all the steps together, I'll teach you the tricks that make it possible to get a pasta that's consistent, that's strong, that hugs the sauce well, that's delicious. Making egg pasta takes patience, fresh pasta is an exercise where you need more patience than in yoga, the tasting will reward us.

We had such a wonderful time with Tamara and Alfredo. Their home was beautiful and they were so welcoming. We learned how to cook pasta (and how to do it when we are back home!). It truly felt like we had known them both for a long time and it is one of our favorite memories from our honeymoon. We can’t wait to go back to Florence and see them again.
