Hazelnut and chocolate cuddles. The city of Turin is also famous for chocolate, since it became the ducal capital in 1560 and Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy served the city a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The addition of hazelnuts is linked to a period of difficulty as Napoleon in the late 1700s and early 1800s imposed a continental blockade of cocoa imports . Turin chocolatiers began to mix chocolate with hazelnuts in which Piedmont ( Langhe ) was rich .Thus was born the famous Gianduiotto. Together we will prepare delicacies with these two precious ingredients : from the famous Bounet to Gianduia cake ,from chocolate pralines to delicious baci di dama . I am waiting for you

Jenni and and her husband bring joy to the world!! do not hesitate, sign up. Normally, I don’t sign up for activities during travel, but since we were with a teen, we have a shot, and it turned out to be a huge hit with all three of us. Really fun!! We were the only guests that evening. Jenni is an elegant hostess. her house and kitchen are lovely, not to mention immaculate. I love that we were not rushed, we were treated like old friends at a dinner party. We had nice wine, hors d'oeuvres, and conversation. then we got started on the cooking. Jenni was was well prepared and an excellent teacher. Jenni’s husband was an assistant, photographer and also answered our many questions. Once the food was ready, we sat down at the table which was elegantly dressed and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. I must add that we made requests according to dietary needs and they were taken seriously and the menu adjusted easily and without any issues. We really appreciated that. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip and one of the best meals we had the whole week. It changes your conception of a city when you meet real peole, not just running from museum to monument, but taking the time to break bread with locals and learn about real city. We loved it! Thank you Jenni, your work brings humans together.

This was a really special evening. Aperitivo with the very nice couple and than at work: preparing the meal. Pasta making was the quintessential in this course. Not easy but I loved to do with the help of Jenni. The proof of the pudding is in the eating they say, and it really was excellent. Thank you so much for this lovely evening when I also learned to speak some italian.

Eugenia and her husband were the best! They made us feel at home and we had so much fun! I filled out a survey on my tree nut allergies and they were so accommodating which I really appreciate. We made Piedmontese ravioli and tagolini! The pasta was delicious and she was a great teacher! Her husband took pictures for us too. We also made individual tiramisu which was fabulous. If I was going to be around longer I would definitely come back for a baking class with my friend Eugenia! They are the best!

We loved the cooking class with Eugenia and her husband, Mauro. They are both charming, as is their home. They taught us many cooking tips, we made delicious food and enjoyed our time getting to know them both. We'd recommend it to anyone interested in learning about cooking and Italian ways.

Eugenia was an absolute gem. In addition to putting so much thought into creating a fantastic menu for my husband, she also gave us plenty of of local sites to check out. The menu and experience were very thoughtfully put together to ensure we had a great time. Eugenia has a great space to teach and allow you to be hands on.

"The passion for cooking has always intrigued and overwhelmed me. For years it has been a gesture of love towards my three children and my large family of origin and now I put the same dedication at the disposal of those who come for pleasure, for work, but also for those who live in the beautiful city of Turin and want to taste the flavors of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. My house is located in the hills near the "Villa della Regina" and is easily accessible by public transport from the city center; here my husband and I also have a small garden where we can welcome our guests in good weather, for a welcome drink. I have a great passion for organic flours which I use regularly to make bread, pasta and above all sweets, my great predilection ".
