Hazelnut and chocolate cuddles. The city of Turin is also famous for chocolate, since it became the ducal capital in 1560 and Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy served the city a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The addition of hazelnuts is linked to a period of difficulty as Napoleon in the late 1700s and early 1800s imposed a continental blockade of cocoa imports . Turin chocolatiers began to mix chocolate with hazelnuts in which Piedmont ( Langhe ) was rich .Thus was born the famous Gianduiotto. Together we will prepare delicacies with these two precious ingredients : from the famous Bounet to Gianduia cake ,from chocolate pralines to delicious baci di dama . I am waiting for you

Eugenia was an absolute gem. In addition to putting so much thought into creating a fantastic menu for my husband, she also gave us plenty of of local sites to check out. The menu and experience were very thoughtfully put together to ensure we had a great time. Eugenia has a great space to teach and allow you to be hands on.

Jenni is a great cook and together with her husband was the perfect hosts. We had an excellent time in their beautiful home learning to cook pasta and tiramisu and enjoyed every minute of their company. I highly recommend this class!

Our group of four persons had a fantastic morning with Eugenia and her husband in their beautiful home. Eugenia is very good at letting guests feel at home and we talked about families, lifestyle in Italy, wine, travels etc. Regarding the cooking everything was very well prepared and with excellent guidance we learned to make a delicious starter, different pastas and the tricks of a perfect Panna Cotta. Thank you for being so generous and inviting us into your home!

We had a wonderful evening with Jenni and her husband Mauro. We felt immediatly comfortable in their beautiful home and enjoyed learning how to cook typical italian food. We would come back again any time! Thank you for the special experience!

The cooking class with Jenni & her husband was one of the highlights of our two week trip through Switzerland & Northern Italy. They were so gracious and their home was beautiful & charming. They put extra effort into the surroundings with family heirlooms of linen table clothes/napkins and china. Surrounded by beautiful things, we were taught to make home made pasta dishes and tiramisu- all of which turned out beautifully and tasted wonderful. The presentation of not just the surroundings but of the food made us feel so special. I have forwarded information about these classes to friends who will be traveling to Italy this summer.

Lots of laughter & learning

"The passion for cooking has always intrigued and overwhelmed me. For years it has been a gesture of love towards my three children and my large family of origin and now I put the same dedication at the disposal of those who come for pleasure, for work, but also for those who live in the beautiful city of Turin and want to taste the flavors of traditional Piedmontese cuisine. My house is located in the hills near the "Villa della Regina" and is easily accessible by public transport from the city center; here my husband and I also have a small garden where we can welcome our guests in good weather, for a welcome drink. I have a great passion for organic flours which I use regularly to make bread, pasta and above all sweets, my great predilection ".
