A fun cooking class to learn secrets in the heart of Lucca's historic center.
We begin the experience with a tasty bruschetta that tells of the scents and colors of my land: the gold of the oil from the hills of Lucca and the sweet tomato canestrino, typical of Lucca. Then we will prepare together with eggs, flour and a rolling pin; ravioli stuffed with spinach and to finish we will learn how to make a sweet mascarpone cream, ladyfinger cookies, coffee and chocolate chips. I look forward to seeing you in my house overlooking the rooftops and towers of the city.

- I took the cooking class with a friend and it was an absolute blast! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We ended up laughing our way through the entire session :) Novella and Marco made everything fun and approachable. The food also turned out amazing. We were genuinely impressed with what we managed to create and the tips we picked up will definitely stick with us. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a memorable, delicious and laughter-filled experience!✨
- Novella welcomed us into her home like we were old friends! She had so many things ready and prepared for us, even had a helper/assistant,Marco!! We made a delicious tiramisu step-by-step with her. And prepared a spinach and cheese filling for our ravioli. she explained everything perfectly step-by-step. Everything was truly delicious… and was warm and welcoming!! I highly recommend her anytime!!

- Wow! What a delightful experience that Novella and Marco provided for us exploring the parts of the town they like to shop at. Absolute gems for fresh produce and other food related products. Then home to Novella's for an authentic cooking experience which was not only fun but also insightful. We learned to make the best pasta. So soft and melt in your mouth. Using one of Novella's recipes she so generously sent us we have just made the best pasta we have ever made at home. (And we have made a lot of pasta from scratch over the years) We highly recommend a cooking class experience with Novella and Marco. We met as strangers and left as friends.

Cesarina from 2022Location: Lucca (LU) Languages: Italian, English, FrenchI was born in Bologna but my roots are here in Tuscany, including in cuisine. From the Lucca cuisine, I love to prepare tordelli with ragù and various soups, from frantoiana to ribollita to pappa al pomodoro, all seasoned with the excellent oil from our hills. The appetizer is always rustic, with excellent unsalted "sciocco" bread bruschetta and Colonnata lard, Igp Sorana beans, black cabbage, and the inevitable chicken livers. To finish sweetly, almond cantucci and grandmother's cream cake.
