You can't visit Italy without trying at least one pasta dish... So, I'll teach you two!

Warm up with the authentic Italian Aperitivo with prosecco and 'stuzzichini' and learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 pasta shapes from scratch. As the icing on the cake you'll learn the secrets of the iconic Italian dessert: Tiramisù. After this hands-on cooking class, enjoy what you’ve prepared for lunch or dinner with local wines and share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends. There’s no way to truly experience Italian culture other than a cooking workshop in a real local home.

Cecilia was a fantastic host who made the entire cooking class both enjoyable and easy to follow. Her teaching style was clear, engaging, and welcoming, which made learning new techniques feel effortless. She created a warm and fun atmosphere that made the experience even more memorable. What really stood out was her dedication—she even took the time to answer questions after we had returned home from Italy. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic and enriching cooking experience.

Cecilia was a great host and teacher. She is very nice and welcoming. It was very fun to make the pasta and tiramisu. She also prepared some focaccia and gave us some wine! The lesson was very informative and interesting.

My fiancé and I had the most incredible experience taking a home cooking class with Cecilia while on vacation in Italy. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely welcome in her home. She walked us through every step of making fresh ravioli from scratch and showed us how to prepare authentic tiramisu. Cecilia was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing her love of Italian cooking. What made it even more special was the warm, relaxed atmosphere—laughing, learning, and enjoying amazing food together. It ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip thus far. We left not only with full stomachs, but with new skills and memories we'll always associate with Italy. If you have the chance to take a class with Cecilia, don't hesitate. It's an experience you won't forget!

Cecilia was an excellent host & a MARVELOUS chef!! We learned so much from her in our short, private time together. Her home is welcoming and comfortable, overlooking beautiful Florence. She is patient and very good at giving directions to those that have never done this before. We have already purchased a pasta attachment for our mixer so we can replicate the dish!! Tiramisu was out of this world. We loved every moment of this experience and was the highlight of our trip to Florence! Thank you Cecilia, we hope to see you again!

At the top end of a road just outside the historic center of Florence, across from the park of the Stibbert Museum, our Cesarina opens the doors to her home from with a splendid view of the city.  “Cooking amuses me and always puts me in a good mood. I’m constantly on the lookout for the perfect recipe, and when I find it I guard it as though it was a treasure chest!”. Cecilia’s is a simple, but unquestionably tasty cuisine: “I like inviting friends home, without any formalities, offering them the best I can”.
