Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
Aperitif with local specialities
Brown butter ravioli
Tortelloni with lemon zest, Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar
Tiramisu
Welcome to my kitchen, where Bolognese tradition meets innovation! We’ll start with a welcome aperitif, then prepare the tiramisu together, which will be left to rest in the fridge. Next, we’ll get out the rolling pin to prepare two dishes that put a contemporary spin on fresh Italian pasta: ravioli with brown butter and tortelloni with lemon zest, Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar. After preparing and cooking the pasta, we’ll sit down at the table to savour our creations together. We’ll round off the experience with a great Italian classic: tiramisu, perfect for a sweet finish. An experience designed for those who want to discover Italian cuisine from a new perspective!
Roberta generously welcomed us to her beautiful home and shared a delightful cooking lesson! The squash and sausage lasagne and tiramisu were very delicious and Roberta was an excellent instructor. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Roberta’s cooking class was fun, informative and the end result was delicious. She taught us to make tagliatelle with bolognese Ragu and tiramisu. We highly recommended her cooking class and would do it again if we come back to Bologna!

Roberta was so welcoming from the moment we stepped into her beautiful home! We made three delicious dishes together, accompanied by wine and an incredible aperitivo. Roberta was very hands-on with her teaching and involved us in every step of the process, while giving us the confidence to participate in making each of the recipes.
Every dish was absolutely fantastic, but Roberta’s warmth and company made the experience even more special. We learned so much, laughed, ate incredible food, and truly felt welcomed into her home. This cooking class was easily one of the highlights of our two-week trip through Italy. We cannot recommend this experience with Roberta enough and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna!

During our family vacation, we thought it would be a great idea to live a culinary experience by booking a cooking class. Not knowing what to expect, Roberta surpassed our expectations. She was so welcoming and kind from the second we set foot in her home. She gave us amazing tips and tricks to make sure we could bring home traditional home cooking. Her big heart and passion for cooking and teaching others made our experience so memorable. Not to mention how delicious the food was !! I would recommend taking a cooking class with her to anyone.
Thank you Roberta !! We hope to see you again. Xox

I love my kitchen both as a space and as a working environment. I enjoy getting my hands in the dough to make pasta, including thin sheets and shortcrust pastry. Being Tuscan, my cuisine is a blend of Tuscan and Emiliana traditions. From the typical lasagna and tagliatelle to the classic Tuscan pappa al pomodoro, my kitchen represents a fusion of these regional influences. The journey through traditional flavors continues with favorites like tiramisu and the iconic Prato biscuits, perfect for dipping into Vin Santo. My kitchen reflects my passion for tradition and the joy of sharing these gastronomic pleasures with others.
