Your experience

    His Majesty the Artichoke. Eating the artichoke in Rome is tradition and history. In this experience at Cesarino Marco's house we will cook the artichoke in various ways: alla romana, alla giudia and fried. From December to the end of April: this is the best time to choose, buy, cook and enjoy artichokes. They are beautiful to look at, vary in size, easy to cook and tender to eat. Artichokes are a typical dish of Roman cuisine to be tasted at least once. I will reveal some little secrets to clean and cook artichokes in a simple and imaginative way that will make them very appetizing. Just use a small knife, water, a juicy lemon, mixed herbs along with a lot of imagination. I look forward to seeing you

    La cena è stata fantastica! Abbiamo cercato di mangiare i carciofi alla romana, autentici e di stagione, a Roma, e di vedere alcuni trucchi del mestiere nella loro preparazione. Abbiamo imparato molto dall'introduzione di Marco alla cucina dei carciofi! Marco ha preparato i carciofi in tre modi diversi: alla romana, alla giudia e fritti. È stata una bella esperienza trascorrere questa divertente serata con Marco e Michela, conoscere un po' la vita dei romani e conversare con loro ha significato molto per noi. Ci hanno accolto come vecchi amici. Mio figlio ha anche ricevuto una torta a sorpresa per il suo compleanno. Grazie mille!

    It was a wonderful evening with Marco en his wife Michela. I had a delicious meal with my sister. We enjoyed the cooking skills of Marco and the hospitality from Marco and his wife. I highly recommend this place to have a nice evening with perfect food and look forward to eat a casa di Marco e Michela again!

    I was given a dinner experience with Marco as a surprise for my 30th birthday. Marco & Graziella were excellent hosts and welcomed us with a beer at the door and invited us into their beautiful home. We had a wonderful five course dinner on their balcony with a view over the mountains. The food was well cooked and made with local ingredients that Marco had picked out! Marco also showed us step by step how to cook the perfect carbonara, needless to say it was the best carbonara that we've ever eaten! Marco also gave us a lot of recommendations of places to visit in Rome (testaccio market had the best pizza we've ever eaten!). If you want a genuine dinner at home experience, Marco is your guy!
