Traditional mix appetizers
Sorrento-style gnocchi
Tiramisu
The lesson will start with the preparation of the dessert, the classic tiramisu, which is a staple at the end of any respectable Roman dinner, enhanced by the scent and freshness of Amalfi and Sorrento lemons. We will then move on to making Sorrento-style water and flour gnocchi, followed by the appetizer: small meatballs served with carbonara sauce and crispy guanciale.
Luciana was so friendly and professional. We had a lovely afternoon at the market and her home. She even picked out deliciously sweet strawberries for us to snack on for the walk to her home. She was very informative with restaurant and shopping recommendations too! We would definitely try another class with Luciana!! One recommendation would be to include some instruction to the travel agency (Viator) to contact a phone number that works (possibly the chef’s phone) once at the meeting place. That was a bit confusing.

Luciana and her friend were great hosts. The time flew and we had a wonderful evening with the two. We learned how to make Gnocchi, too, and we hope to see both girls again when they hopefully come to Germany one day.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this cooking class! The hosts were incredibly lovely, welcoming us with open arms and making us feel right at home. After the cooking session, we ended up staying and chatting with them—they even provided us with a huge list of recommendations to help us experience Rome like locals.
The pasta we made was incredibly tasty, and we also crafted the best tiramisu we've ever had. The entire experience was both educational and enjoyable. If you're looking for an authentic and delightful culinary experience in Rome, we highly recommend this class.

We met Luchiana at market, shopped for our ingredients and walked back to her home for a cooking experience beyond our expectations. She treated us to authentic Italian cuisine and hospitality and taught us the art of gnocchi making as well as traditional tiramisu. Such a fun morning! Definitely an experience we won’t soon forget. We feel like we not only got a great cooking class but also made a new friend. Thank you Luchiana.

I'm Campana transplanted to Rome. My cuisine is a reminder of the origins of the Amalfi lemon fragrance, blended with traditional products with a strong flavor of Roman cuisine.
