Valeria and Valentina were such gracious hosts! It was just like spending and evening with old friends. We sat for a short while getting to know each other before getting into making our Pasta and Dessert! We had the most amazing time and feel as if we made good friends while learning how to cook two traditional pasta dishes and a wonderful dessert. We highly recommend this experience and mostly we highly recommend Valeria and Valentina!

Just a perfect afternoon cooking with, learning from and especially eating with Valentina, in Valeria’s beautiful and elegant home. The recipes were simple but also sophisticated and the results were delicious. Vale is a delight - so personable and interested in her guests and a terrific teacher as well. Can’t recommend this experience enough.

At Valeria and Valentina's home, we learned how to make excellent traditional Italian recipes. The conversations were very enjoyable, also thanks to the ladies' perfect English. It's an experience we highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rome.

The highlight of our trip! We were lucky enough to get a one on one cooking class with Valeria and it was the highlight of our trip! We sat and chatted with Valeria with some wine and homemade aperitifs, and you could tell Valeria really wanted to get to know us, and us her. We then had an excellent cooking session making tiramisu, ricotta filled ravioli, and tagliatelle. Valeria was fantastic with her instruction and her encouragement through humour and motherly-like care. Then we went into the kitchen and watched as Valeria made the pasta sauce and cooked the ravioli, which honestly was so wonderful as we got to learn some tips and tricks along the way. We finished our class with eating three courses together, paired with wine and homemade limoncello. We ended up travelling around Italy for the next couple of weeks, and both my husband and I have said that cooking with Valeria was the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much, Valeria! It was so great to meet with you and this is definitely an unforgettable experience!

Parioli is a Roman neighborhood that holds a unique charm. It distinguishes itself by its marvelous buildings and large green areas. This neighborhood offers up so many different facets and after the Second World War it began to get noticed, becoming the hang outplace of famous movie stars, important theater actors and diplomats from all over the world. The history of Parioli is, however, dates back to the Roman period. Later, during the Middle Ages, the neighborhood was known as "Pelaiolo", a peasant term referring the fruit of the pear tree. Valeria and Valentina greet us here in Parioli in their period home. Both lovers of the culinary arts, they have always enjoyed spending lots of time cooking and trying out new recipes, from the past and present. Their dishes are full of the memories and flavors of childhood, and their table setting is elegant and full of colors that vary according to the seasons. Their preparations tend to revolve around  baked goods (bread, breadsticks, taralli), all strictly homemade using our Cesarines own sourdough starter and extra virgin olive oil which they also produce themselves.
