Live an authentic Apulian culinary experience! Knead and shape traditional orecchiette with your own hands, then prepare delicious meatballs to be cooked in a fragrant sauce, perfect for dressing the fresh pasta. While the sauce gently simmers, we’ll savor crispy friselle topped with juicy cherry tomatoes. The experience culminates in a tasting of our orecchiette and meatballs, perfectly paired with a glass of Primitivo di Manduria. Absolutely brilliant. Deborah and her friend hosted us in her friends beautiful home. We made tiramisu, gnocchi and a sweet little ear shaped pasta. It was much harder than it looked! The ladies were so friendly and interesting and we then ate our meal together. They gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay too.

We booked the pasta cooking class where we learned to make three different classic Italian dishes. We felt very welcomed and it was like being at home with family.

Debby was a fantastic teacher, hostess and ambassador for Bologna! Really enjoyed learning to make two different types of fresh pasta and tiramisu. It was such a cool experience to be invited into Debby's home to learn more about everyday life in Bologna and Debby openly shared stories about her family, work, studies and hobbies. Wonderful experience and a fantastic teacher, so glad I did this. Would highly recommend!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful afternoon in Bologna with Debby and Rosa. They were warm, kind, and incredibly hospitable. We felt right at home as we learned to make fresh pasta from scratch. The workshop was hands-on and informative. We learned traditional techniques. It was fun, delicious, and filled with love. The kitchen was filled with warmth, both from the food and from Debby and Rosa’s beautiful energy. A truly special experience we’ll always cherish!
