Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Tortelloni
  • Tagliatelle
  • Tiramisu

Welcome to my home in the hills of Bologna for an experience dedicated to fresh pasta in the Bolognese tradition! During these 3 hours, you will discover the secrets of making tagliatelle and tortelloni like a true sfoglina, using the rolling pin to transform flour and eggs into works of gastronomic art.

We will begin by preparing the tiramisu, which will rest in the refrigerator while we work the dough and sheet to make flawless tortelloni and tagliatelle. After cooking, we will taste tortelloni topped with butter and gold and tagliatelle with sausage and rosemary ragout, accompanied by selected local wines.

We will finish with our tiramisu and a good coffee. I will welcome you in an environment with attention to detail, to share tradition and conviviality!

During our family vacation, we thought it would be a great idea to live a culinary experience by booking a cooking class. Not knowing what to expect, Roberta surpassed our expectations. She was so welcoming and kind from the second we set foot in her home. She gave us amazing tips and tricks to make sure we could bring home traditional home cooking. Her big heart and passion for cooking and teaching others made our experience so memorable. Not to mention how delicious the food was !! I would recommend taking a cooking class with her to anyone. Thank you Roberta !! We hope to see you again. Xox Alissa

This was our first experience in a cooking class and it was absolutely amazing! Roberta was so warm and welcoming and the food was by far a 10/10. Will definitely go back next time I am in Bologna!

Our family went to take a class with Roberta, she was super friendly with us. She provided a welcoming environment and taught us how to make ravioli, tiramisu and more. She is very knowledgeable and was very patient. She gave us some class Bologna appetizer, expanding our pallet. For dinner we had the two pastas we learned to make with some wine my 16 year old loved, and for the dessert we had the tiramisu we made. everything was made from scratch. We definitely recommend this experience and Roberta was a lovely host.

If you are debating whether to book this experience, do it. Our family of five all agreed it was one of the highlights of our entire Italy trip. Roberta is an amazing person. She welcomed us into her beautiful home like we were family. Her second-floor kitchen was an absolute dream and the perfect place to spend a few hours learning to make fresh pasta. The entire experience was relaxed, fun, and never felt rushed. We laughed, cooked, shared stories, enjoyed incredible homemade pasta, and left with memories we will never forget. By the end, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to family instead of someone we had just met. If you want an authentic Italian experience and not just another tourist activity, I highly recommend spending a late morning star 11:00 am start was perfect with Roberta. It was worth every minute and is something our family will always remember. Thank you Roberta, we miss you!

I love my kitchen both as a space and as a working environment. I enjoy getting my hands in the dough to make pasta, including thin sheets and shortcrust pastry. Being Tuscan, my cuisine is a blend of Tuscan and Emiliana traditions. From the typical lasagna and tagliatelle to the classic Tuscan pappa al pomodoro, my kitchen represents a fusion of these regional influences. The journey through traditional flavors continues with favorites like tiramisu and the iconic Prato biscuits, perfect for dipping into Vin Santo. My kitchen reflects my passion for tradition and the joy of sharing these gastronomic pleasures with others.
