Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
We will prepare traditional family dishes, but with an artistic touch. We will add color to pasta and ravioli using vegetable and seasonal pigments, and we will decorate the dishes with brushes as if they were real canvases to be painted. We will transform the table into a work of art, where taste and creativity meet. We will conclude with a dessert that respects the colors and scents of the season, for a culinary experience that nourishes both the eyes and the palate.
Maria was wonderful!! It was so kind of her to have us in her home and share her knowledge with us! We learned lots and had amazing food! Thank you Maria!!

It was an amazing experience. It was like I was with a good friend. I managed not only to learn how to cook, but I also practiced my Italian language. I learned a lot about the culture of the people living in Italy. And Maria's garden is a separate masterpiece. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes delicious and healthy food.

It was a very fun afternoon. I picked up a few tips, learned a few new recipes, and thoroughly enjoyed the company.
Cesarina from 2020Location: Rome (RM) Languages: English and Italian
Maria Carla was born in Umbria, but has lived in Rome for many years, in the Monteverde Vecchio district, surrounded by greenery and a stone's throw from the center. Our Cesarina in the kitchen rediscovers family recipes, adapting and modifying them according to the rules of kasherut (the different Jewish culinary habits). "The recipes I propose are all very attentive, both to seasonality and to the choice of raw materials; I can certainly say that my cuisine combines tradition and health."
