Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Private Experience
Your experience

Fresh pasta is a great passion of mine, and I’ve always shared it with my partner Alessio. We’re keen to offer you this experience so we can share with you all the secrets we’ve learnt over the years and the tricks we’ve picked up whilst rolling out kilos and kilos of pasta.

We’ll start with the doughs, learning about and appreciating their characteristics and differences, and then we’ll roll, fill and prepare three cornerstones of Piedmontese cuisine: tajarin, ravioli and gnocchi. And at the end, your efforts will be rewarded with a tasting of our creations, paired with sauces and a good glass of wine!

Very nice warm and kind experience. Sara was very open and shared her knowledge with a lot of care and love. The fresh pasta was amazing and we can’t wait to make the starter at home. Thank you a lot, grazie!

Sara and Alessio we are the greatest host we could imagine. We had a wonderful evening with a lot of fun, good jokes and very much we additionally learned to our existing experience with making pasta. We had the possibility to get more familiar with the Piemontese cuisine and with general tips and tricks making pasta. It was really a 10/10 experience and we would recommend everyone who loves cooking (and eating) to do it with Sara and Alessio.

Taking this cooking class in Italy with my 10 year-old son was an unforgettable experience. It was far more than just learning recipes—we were welcomed into a space where food, culture, and human connection came together beautifully. As we cooked, we also shared stories about our lives, families, and travels, creating a genuine cultural exchange that made the experience deeply personal. What stood out most was how immersive it felt. We didn’t just follow instructions; we learned the traditions behind the dishes, the importance of ingredients, and the role food plays in Italian family life. Spending that time together, side by side, made it even more meaningful for us as a parent and child. It is a memory I will always treasure and truly would not trade for the world.

Tradition is an innovation that has brought us this far. Starting from the local raw materials, I transform them following both the lessons from my mother and grandmother and the techniques learned through studies and travels. For me, cooking is primarily about conviviality, sharing, and exchange... Always accompanied by a good glass of wine! I prefer first courses and baked goods, smoked meats, and recently I have been producing homemade cured meats. My favorite dish... It's the next one I'll have the opportunity to try!
