Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
We will begin with a welcome drink accompanied by a good glass of Prosecco.
First we will make tiramisu together, the quintessential Italian dessert, which will rest in the refrigerator waiting to be enjoyed. Then we will move on to the heart of the experience: we will prepare the dough for tagliatelle and ravioli together. Next, we will turn our attention to preparing the ravioli filling as we put a delicious tomato, sausage and rosemary ragout to cook. We will enjoy everything together with a selection of local wines. She made us a delicious piadina dish as an aperitivo which was absolutely delightful. We had great conversations about Italy, travel, cooking, and family. - Roberta was phenomenal and provided everything we hoped for in a Bolognese cooking class, and more. The ricotta and spinach ravioli, and tagliatelle and ragu with her direction was an easy contender for one of our favorite meals in Bologna. And sweet baby Jesus, her tiramisu was the almost forgotten cherry on top after we indulged in the fresh pasta courses, but not one of us left a single bite uneaten. The experience as a whole was so fun and Roberta was incredibly welcoming and accommodating to my family. The class was one of the highs of our whole trip.
