Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Aperitif with local specialties
  • Ravioli
  • Tagliatelle
  • Tiramisu

We will begin with a welcome drink accompanied by a good glass of Prosecco.

First we will make tiramisu together, the quintessential Italian dessert, which will rest in the refrigerator waiting to be enjoyed. Then we will move on to the heart of the experience: we will prepare the dough for tagliatelle and ravioli together. Next, we will turn our attention to preparing the ravioli filling as we put a delicious tomato, sausage and rosemary ragout to cook. We will enjoy everything together with a selection of local wines. I look forward to welcoming you to an environment with attention to detail, to share tradition, conviviality and passion for cooking!

The entire experience was incredible. Roberta and her husband are so welcoming and easy to talk to and Roberta is a great teacher. We learned how to make tagliatelle con burro e salvia and tortellini/cappelletti agli (/ripieni di) spinaci in the beautiful kitchen, and enjoyed warm conversations about Italy, family and language. An amazing experience like no other - irreplaceable!

We had the best time learning how to make handmade pasta and tiramisu with Roberta. She walked us through each step and everything was delicious. We left full, happy and confident in recreating the dishes at home.

This was the best lasagne I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve tried different Italian dishes in a few restaurants around Bologna before, but none of them impressed me as much as what we made during this class. Roberta led the lesson in such a warm and friendly way – she was kind, helpful, and you could really feel her passion for cooking. The whole experience was engaging and clearly explained from start to finish. If Roberta ever opened her own restaurant, I’d definitely be one of her regulars. I highly recommend this class to anyone who loves Italian food and wants to learn something truly special!

I love my kitchen both as a space and as a working environment. I enjoy getting my hands in the dough to make pasta, including thin sheets and shortcrust pastry. Being Tuscan, my cuisine is a blend of Tuscan and Emiliana traditions. From the typical lasagna and tagliatelle to the classic Tuscan pappa al pomodoro, my kitchen represents a fusion of these regional influences. The journey through traditional flavors continues with favorites like tiramisu and the iconic Prato biscuits, perfect for dipping into Vin Santo. My kitchen reflects my passion for tradition and the joy of sharing these gastronomic pleasures with others.
