Come experience the flavors of autumn at my home in the heart of Bologna, where I'll welcome you with a smile to discover the magic of pumpkin tortelloni – the queen of fall!

You'll learn to make fresh pasta from scratch and create the perfect pumpkin filling, crafting each tortellone by hand. Then you'll taste them two ways: with butter and sage, and with ragù – to discover how different sauces bring out unique flavors. We'll start with a crispy seasonal surprise and finish with classic tiramisu. After cooking together with laughter and stories, we'll sit down to enjoy your handmade tortelloni with local wine in a warm, convivial atmosphere. Small groups only – because Emilian hospitality is generous, but we like to really get to know you!

Had a wonderful evening learning how to prepare tagliatelle with ragú and tortelloni. The apartment itself is already a treat to be in, felt like the perfect location for this class and activity. I already knew the basics and I could ask Veronica anything so that I could improve. Loved learning to make the sauces and hear Veronica talk about everything food- and Italy related. Can absolutely recommend!

My wife surprised me with this pasta making course. It was a brilliant experience, mainly due to Veronica's proficient expertise and kind way. We went buying the necessary tools in town right the next day, and hope to start preparing Tagliatelle and Tortelloni back home soon.

I learned the dishes of the Bolognese tradition from my grandmothers: from nettle tagliatelle (hand-rolled with a rolling pin) to lasagna, tortelloni, cannelloni, and tortellini, passing through stuffed zucchini, meatballs, Cotoletta alla Petroniana, hunter-style rabbit, and crescentine, all the way to rice cake, raviole, and the Christmas pinza. I also love experimenting with other cuisines: from the Sardinian tradition (my husband is Sardinian) to all the regional specialties of our beautiful Italy. For me, the key is always to use top-quality ingredients and pair every dish with a good wine to bring out its full flavor!
