Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
We will prepare together two types of fresh Sicilian pasta made from durum wheat semolina: the famous 'maccheroni al ferretto' and ricotta ravioli. After the cooking class, we will enjoy in a living room decorated with antique furniture and Sicilian ceramics the fresh pastas we have made, which we will complement with typical Sicilian condiments such as Norma, fresh tomato sauce, pork ragout or caciocavallo ragusano fondue. And then we will enjoy with coffee a dessert such as baked cassata, tiramisu, a tart or a stuffed cake.

Cesarina from 2024Location: Rome Languages: Italian, English, German, FrenchHi! I’m Ada Parisi, a professional journalist specializing in the food and agriculture sector, living in Rome. In 2013, I created a food blog inspired by Sicilian traditions, but today my cooking embraces a 360-degree approach: from Sicilian and Roman to Italian and international cuisine, with a focus on Korean, Chinese, and Japanese flavors. I’ve cooked in various restaurants and taught cooking lessons at home, and now I want to develop a more structured business offering cooking classes, food shopping experiences, food storytelling, and private dinners, with a special focus on international guests. I speak English and German, and my partner, a wine & spirit expert, shares this passion with me.
