Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
La Cesarina Cristina welcomes its guests in a villa surrounded by greenery with large outdoor spaces and large windows, where you can admire the garden and ancient olive trees. A little corner of paradise not far from the center of the Eternal City.
During this cooking class you will learn to prepare 3 fresh pasta recipes, in a villa surrounded by greenery with centuries-old olive trees: ravioli stuffed with ricotta, potato gnocchi and fettuccine.
Each participant will have his or her own station and will be actively working, equipped with an apron and a handout where the recipes will be explained, with ingredients and steps.
At the end of the course you can relax at the table, enjoying the menu prepared together with drinks included (local wine, water and coffee).

- I had a great time! I was lucky to be alone during this course, we had a good discussion despite the language barrier and I learned a lot thanks to these lessons. Thank you again! I’m leaving with a very good memory.
- My partner and I had a wunderful evening during the cooking class with Cristina. We learned how to make 4 kind of pasta and the 4 traditional sauces in Roma. Cristina had a lot of useful advices for us. We enjoyed the cooking class a lot as well as eating what we produced. Cristina served us also a delicious aperitivo with a lovrly white wine. Thanks a lot to Cristina for the unique experience. We can definitly recommand it!
- Our family had a fabulous time making three kinds of pasta and then eating our delicious creations. Christina was warm, welcoming and a fantastic teacher. We are all experienced cooks but learned so much. It was an experience we will never forget!
- My partner and I had a beautiful, authentic and delicious evening at Cristina’s cooking class, and we absolutely recommend for any trip to Rome. The class is very literally hands on, and Cristina walked us step by step through how to make three different pastas and techniques. Bring your appetite! In addition to the pasta, we enjoyed an antipasto of bruschetta, cheese and meat (with a special treat of trying Cristina’s home grown extra virgin olive oil!) This would be a great experience for any age, and we hope to come back some day!
- I chose Cristina's cooking class from the options in Rome, and it was a great choice. Cristina and her home are synonymous with preparation, friendliness, and professionalism. She was an exceptional teacher, very knowledgeable about the quality of ingredients and generous with advice. She offered us an aperitif in her charming garden and pampered us when we tasted the dishes we prepared together. Highly recommended.
