On the occasion of this cooking class, I open the doors of my home to welcome you and let you discover the wonderful culinary tradition of Rome.
Together, we’ll prepare dishes that are both beautiful and delicious, uncovering some of the secrets of Roman cooking — like the perfect batter for frying fish and vegetables. You’ll also have the chance to choose the dishes you’d like to explore and, when possible, we’ll cook them together. These are simple, tasty recipes that are easy to recreate at home with friends. But this experience goes beyond cooking: it’s also about stories — of Rome, its history, and its artistic treasures — shared with you by Michela, my wife and a certified tour guide. - This was an amazing your hosted by the best people we met on our journey through europe. They showed as all the treasures of food Rome had to offer. Marco had print outs off all the food we tried so we could read later and understand the origins. The food was incredible had a meat platter to try all the different produce from the area, so filling. Then had dessert from a wonderful team that just kept feeding us which was fantastic. I recommend Marco highly is was so much fun.

- Our evening with Marco and his wonderful family was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into their home. The experience of making fresh pasta and tiramisu was not only fun and hands-on, but also filled with laughter and warmth as Marco and his family guided us through each step with patience and passion. We started the evening with a glass of Prosecco, which set the perfect tone for a relaxed and joyful night. After preparing the pasta and assembling the tiramisu, we all sat down together at the table to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Sharing a meal with Marco, his wife, her brother, sister, and nephews, felt less like an Airbnb experience and more like an authentic slice of Italian family life. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine flowed generously, and the conversation and connection made the evening unforgettable.
