Sorrento, scrigno di bellezza della Campania, è internazionalmente nota non solo per il fascino del mare e dei suoi panorami, ma anche per il seducente richiamo esercitato dalle eccellenze gastronomiche del territorio.  A pochi passi dalla centrale Piazza Tasso c’è la casa di Laura ed Ettore. La nostra è una cucina green. Ci impegniamo ad assumere comportamenti di sostenibilità ambientale, anche in cucina: privilegiamo ingredienti con basso impatto e che viaggiano poco, dunque di provenienza locale e di stagione. Siamo sempre attenti ad evitare gli sprechi alimentari: ai nostri ospiti offriamo sempre la (graditissima) possibilità di portar via il cibo preparato insieme e non consumato!

Cooking class in Sorrento with Laura of Cesarina at her beautiful home. What a truly unique and special experience to cook pasta and tiramisu with this exceptional woman and her assistant (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) both were incredibly inviting, and warm. We felt as though we were visiting family. The class was educational and fun and the food was outstanding. If you're in Sorrento look her up! Thanks again Laura!

Of course the food was amazing, but even more so was the experience. Laura taught us to make the meal, let us participate in the cooking, and was a wonderful host. This was the highlight of our trip to Sorrento and I consider it a must do.

Tonight's dinner and 'class' went far beyond our expectations. Immediately Laura made us feel like members of the family with a kind welcome, glass of wine after some warm conversation. And then, we all got to work in the kitchen learning how to make delicious fried dumplings, Sorrento Gnocchi and Tiramisu. The beauty of our trip to the Amalfi Coast was surpassed by our evening as guests at Laura's home and kitchen. My son said, "Dad, this was the very best part of our trip". It connected us to Italy in a way no other experience, tour or otherwise could. And, he's right.

Laura and her sons were absolutely charming! We learned, we laughed, and we ate aplenty. They waved us down from the balcony and from that moment we knew we were in for a treat. That moment forward it was nothing but fun and learning about food and culture. We really felt welcomed as one of the familia!
