A good reception cannot go without a bottle of chilled wine, with hot piadinas and fragrant mortadella.
Then by a good first course: tortelloni, tagliatelle, lasagna, tortellini, etc.
And to finish with a slice of tenerina (chocolate cake), or a mascarpone cup with chocolate chips, or a cream ice cream....
Strictly: homemade!
All accompanied by chatter and laughter.

- My husband, daughter (8yo) and I went to Rosa’s house to have a cooking class. From the moment she opened the door we knew we were in for an authentic Italian experience. Rosa was energetic, patient and fun. It was Easter Sunday so she offered us some traditional Colomba. We were with two more people in the class and we made delicious food (tagliatelle, tortelloni and tiramisu). We absolutely recommend doing this as it was such a highlight in our family trip. We had great food and great conversations. My daughter was delighted too.
- Rosa was a fantastic Cesarina who made us feel like we were at a Sunday family lunch at home. We learned so much about pasta and Italian and Bolognese cuisine, and she gave us plenty of ideas to help us recreate what we learned once we're back home. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something authentic and non-touristy.

Una chef meravigliosa e una persona molto intelligente. Passeremo un bellissimo pomeriggio nella tua cucina, se conosci la cugina Rosa, verrò a casa tua tutti i giorni per un mese haha.

Make sure you take the time to admire the ancient buildings and porticoes unique to this stunning city! Rosa’s apartment is just off the main shopping street, Via dell’Indipendenza, just a stone’s throw away from Piazza Maggiore and the Due Torri. Rosa is a lawyer by profession, and fills her spare time with sport and cooking. She’s lived in the city for over 45 years, and is passionate about the area’s culinary traditions. “I took a great cooking course where I learned to make fresh pasta and iconic Bolognese dishes.”
