Eggs, flour, semolina and a pinch of imagination.... You will learn together with me how to make fresh pasta.
Everything will be made strictly by hand, with Cesarino Marco. You will knead fettuccine, pasta alla chitarra, lasagna or potato gnocchi. We will taste together wine from the Castelli Romani, wine is drunk in company. Then the king of Italian desserts Tiramisu the traditional one: the guests' favorite dessert. We will discover some tricks to make it better and better, you will need few ingredients but all of extreme quality. Fresh pasta and desserts: the saga of the carbohydrate. - Our evening with Marco and his wonderful family was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into their home. The experience of making fresh pasta and tiramisu was not only fun and hands-on, but also filled with laughter and warmth as Marco and his family guided us through each step with patience and passion. We started the evening with a glass of Prosecco, which set the perfect tone for a relaxed and joyful night. After preparing the pasta and assembling the tiramisu, we all sat down together at the table to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Sharing a meal with Marco, his wife, her brother, sister, and nephews, felt less like an Airbnb experience and more like an authentic slice of Italian family life. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine flowed generously, and the conversation and connection made the evening unforgettable.
- It was a wonderful evening with Marco en his wife Michela. I had a delicious meal with my sister. We enjoyed the cooking skills of Marco and the hospitality from Marco and his wife. I highly recommend this place to have a nice evening with perfect food and look forward to eat a casa di Marco e Michela again!
- I was given a dinner experience with Marco as a surprise for my 30th birthday. Marco & Graziella were excellent hosts and welcomed us with a beer at the door and invited us into their beautiful home. We had a wonderful five course dinner on their balcony with a view over the mountains. The food was well cooked and made with local ingredients that Marco had picked out! Marco also showed us step by step how to cook the perfect carbonara, needless to say it was the best carbonara that we've ever eaten! Marco also gave us a lot of recommendations of places to visit in Rome (testaccio market had the best pizza we've ever eaten!). If you want a genuine dinner at home experience, Marco is your guy!
