Your experience

La Cesarina Cristina welcomes its guests in a villa surrounded by greenery with large outdoor spaces and large windows, where you can admire the garden and ancient olive trees. A little corner of paradise not far from the center of the Eternal City.

During this cooking class you will learn to prepare 3 fresh pasta recipes, in a villa surrounded by greenery with centuries-old olive trees: ravioli stuffed with ricotta, potato gnocchi and fettuccine.

Each participant will have his or her own station and will be actively working, equipped with an apron and a handout where the recipes will be explained, with ingredients and steps.

At the end of the course you can relax at the table, enjoying the menu prepared together with drinks included (local wine, water and coffee).

Cristina hosted the most amazing cooking class! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us into her beautiful home and made us feel completely at ease. The class was perfectly paced — we started by making a classic tiramisu, then took a lovely break to enjoy a delicious appetizer outside in her garden before moving on to making two different pastas from scratch. The ravioli was an absolute standout — my boyfriend hasn’t stopped talking about it since! Cristina generously shared all of her recipes with us so we can recreate the dishes at home and bring a little piece of Rome back with us. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was Cristina herself. She shared her journey as a chef and how she learned to cook from her grandmother at a young age. Her passion for cooking and for sharing her culture shines through in everything she does, making the class both fun and deeply personal. Even though we traveled about 20 minutes outside of Rome by Uber, it was so worth it. We left with full bellies, new skills, and wonderful memories. This was a highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend Cristina’s class enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back to Rome to learn even more from her!

What a WONDERFUL afternoon we had!!!! Cristina was a patient, kind, fabulous host and teacher!!! We made four pastas by hand and enjoyed them with four sauces!! We will be sure to make them at home as well!! Cristina’s home and setting are gorgeous and it was the perfect way to end our vacation!!! Grazie, Cristina!!!

Cristina was very welcoming and thorough with her explanations on how to make each dish. She also answered a lot of questions about Roman and Italian food. Her villa is amazing with an amazing garden to have your meal. She also makes her own olive oil which was very special. Thank you Cristina for making our first cooking class memorable!

Our dinner experience was amazing. The food was great, but better was the authentic experience of Rome residential living and cooking. Highly recommend.

"Since my tender age I have always looked with admiration the love with which my grandmother, of Apulian origins, worked for hours in the kitchen. I still remember her hands and her aprons, often soiled with flour and the aroma of 'good things and genuine' that spread throughout the house and enveloped me in a pleasant feeling of well-being."
