Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful time with Claudia and Ale. From the fantastic appetizers at the welcome, the expert cooking lesson, and the amazing meal. We had so much fun getting to know them and Italy a little better. Claudia and Ale were very hospitable and generous with their time with smiles, songs, and drinks to make it all a memorable experience.
We had a wonderful time cooking with Alessandra! She was very welcoming and great at answering all our questions while showing us how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. Both fun and relaxing, we would recommend her to our friends! Amazing hospitality & cuisine!
I had a great time at my cooking class with Carlo. We made bruschetta, ravioli and tiramisu. Carli brought in fresh herbs from the garden. His kitchen is small but super functional and I got ideas of things I want to buy for mine at home. Carlo was personable and informative. Highly recommend!
Marco is a gem along the Marmorata (marble carving district). Full stop. To say that we had a pleasant time is an understatement. Goofy, sweet, and full of stories and information, anyone who has the luck to dine with Marco is in for a treat. My wife and I would and could gush about him for a long time. Suffice to say, we have already a warm feeling and memory to look back on for our time here.
Excellent tour and lunch! We were blown away with the food and hospitality of our host!
Definitely a must do when you come to Palermo/Sicily. Had the best experience and would recommend to anyone! We would do it again next time we are here. Francesca was so welcoming, had everything ready, and learned three dishes. Everything was set out and she did taught step by step. Her place was exquisite and The dining experience was wonderful!
Cecilia was AWESOME! She made us feel like her friends coming over for lunch. As cooks who are not novices, we learned many new techniques that we will bring home with us. AND, she picked up our reservation when our first Cesarine was canceled unexpectedly the night before. So greatful! Cecilia, after we left, we realized, we forgot to leave you a tip! We are mortified! We have put a little something for you in the mail :)
My family and I recently tried Cesarine for the first time. We were so pleased, the evening was everything we hoped for and more! Claudia and Francesco welcomed us into their lovely home. They had all the supplies ready to go and took us through the basics of pasta making. It was a true "hands-on" experience. Claudia patiently explained how to roll out the freshly made dough then form it into three different types of pasta, with three different sauces. It was clear there was a lot of effort and thought put into planning our special evening. As delicious as the appetizers and the pasta we all created, the real treat was getting to know each other over a leisurely "slow food" dinner. My kids, both young adults, were impressed and made a real connection. At the end of the meal we even got out a special deck of cards and played a few hands of "briscola". I highly recommend this experience over another fancy restaurant or other routine night out while in Italy.
