Ciao da Veronica!

Ho imparato i piatti della tradizione bolognese dalle mie nonne: dalle tagliatelle all’ortica (tirate rigorosamente a mano con il mattarello) alle lasagne, tortelloni, cannelloni e tortellini, passando per gli zucchini ripieni, le polpette, la cotoletta alla petroniana, il coniglio alla cacciatora e le crescentine, fino ad arrivare alla torta di riso, le raviole e la pinza di Natale.Amo però anche sperimentare cucine diverse: dalla tradizione sarda (mio marito è sardo) a tutte le specialità regionali della nostra bella Italia. Per me, l’importante è sempre usare ingredienti di qualità eccellente e abbinare un buon vino per valorizzare ogni piatto!

The cooking class with Veronica was great fun and probably the moment I will remember the most from our trip to Bologna. Veronica was wunderful at teaching us to make the pasta dough and then shape it into torteloni and tagliatelle. We had a nice lunch with probably the best pasta we ever tasted. Thank you, Veronica! I will keep on doing my own pasta!

If you are lucky enough to be matched with Veronica you're in luck!! She made us feel like we were cooking with family! Nothing felt rushed or pressured. We feel so fortunate to have been able to spend the morning making pasta and cooking with Veronica. From the beginning she was incredibly warm and welcoming and invited us into her beautiful home. We made 3 different types of pasta and even got the opportunity to experiment with new tastes and flavours. She can cater to all abilities and levels of experience in the kitchen. It was a great morning. We came away having learnt and refined our skills with pasta and also got the chance to share some of our own recipes with Veronica. Rather than a class, it felt more like spending time with a friend. Veronica was incredibly personable and gave us plenty of recommendations for the rest of our trip in Italy and the Emilia-Romagna region. We would recommend her whole heartedly.
