Ciao da Roberta!

Amo la mia cucina in quanto spazio e luogo di lavoro. Adoro mettere le mani in pasta per creare sfoglie e frolle, una passione che trova la sua ispirazione nelle tradizioni culinarie della Toscana e dell'Emilia-Romagna. La mia cucina è un connubio di questi due mondi. Dalle classiche lasagne e tagliatelle alle autentiche pappa al pomodoro toscana, la mia tavola è un viaggio attraverso i sapori tradizionali di queste regioni. Non mancano mai il tiramisù e i biscotti di Prato, immancabili per concludere il pasto, magari accompagnati da un bicchiere di vino santo. La mia cucina è il riflesso del mio amore per la tradizione e della gioia nel condividere questi piaceri gastronomici con gli altri.

We had the best time learning how to make handmade pasta and tiramisu with Roberta. She walked us through each step and everything was delicious. We left full, happy and confident in recreating the dishes at home.

What an incredible experience! I had three classes with Roberta this week. Each was its sown adventure in traditional Italian food. Roberta was an amazing host and inspiring teacher. The cooking experience with Roberta was fantastic. We learned, we laughed, we shared, and we ate! She was a gracious hostess and clearly an experienced cook who knows her local dishes. She taught us and managed to make the experience fun for our son who is almost nine. We will be making Ragu at home, and it will be great thanks to Roberta. Cesarine itself would get 4 stars from us. The booking process was reasonably smooth, but communication was minimal and directions were lacking (go to this address and ring the bell, except none of the bells says "Roberta" and Cesarine has not shared Roberta's last name, presumably to avoid people booking around Cesarine) so it was not a 5 star coordination service experience.

When we came to Italy for our holiday I wanted to experience making ragu and pasta in Bologna. I cook a lot and have taken several formal classes. I was amazed at my experience with chef Roberta. Her knowledge and experience were outstanding. She provided details on how the ingredients impacted the flavour profile as we worked in her amazing kitchen. She has a vibrant personality and is a very warm person. She provided additional treats and excellent wine. You will be astounded by the cooking environment in her beautiful home. I can not imagine a more perfect experience with a gifted chef. Her class will be the highlight of your vacation.
