Ciao da Martina!

"Tutto è cominciato all’asilo nido, volevo stare solo in cucina ad aiutare la cuoca e mai in classe. Sono cresciuta in un piccolo paese sull’Appennino Bolognese, a casa dei nonni. Da Nonna Giuliana ho imparato cosa vuol dire dimostrare il proprio amore per la famiglia attraverso la cucina, riunendosi per il rito del pranzo della domenica. Da Rina, una donna speciale che descrivo come 'tutto quello che non ho', ho imparato ad accogliere e prendermi cura delle persone con naturalezza, in qualunque momento.Quando ero bambina mi incantavo ad osservare i loro movimenti, le loro mani e cercavo di imitarle. Impastare, mescolare, aspettare e vedere i risultati. Apro le porte della mia casa per trasmettere quello che ho imparato, accompagnando i miei ospiti in un viaggio tra passato, presente e futuro."

: Martina was a very engaging host and I enjoyed cooking the various aperitifs that she had chosen for us.
: Martina was a warm and welcoming host. Sharing stories about her neighborhood in Bologna’s arts and culture district while we walked around on a gorgeous near-spring day. We visited an authentic locale market and park, returning to her impeccable and charming home where we created and shared a tasty lunch. It was lovely way to spend a weekend day while on a business trip to Bologna.
: Martina was awesome. She took a lot of time with us and we didn't feel rushed. This was a birthday present for my teenage grandsons and was the highlight of their vacation to Italy.
: Martina was amazing. She made us feel so welcome in her home and explained about not only what we were cooking but about the city as well. She helped when needed and walked us through step by step. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to try these recipes at home! My husband said next time we are there we are going to do her food market and cooking tour!
