Hi from Cecilia!

At the top end of a road just outside the historic center of Florence, across from the park of the Stibbert Museum, our Cesarina opens the doors to her home from with a splendid view of the city. “Cooking amuses me and always puts me in a good mood. I’m constantly on the lookout for the perfect recipe, and when I find it I guard it as though it was a treasure chest!”. Cecilia’s is a simple, but unquestionably tasty cuisine: “I like inviting friends home, without any formalities, offering them the best I can”.

It can be nerve wracking going into someone else’s home to learn a new skill, but with Cecilia we immediately felt comfortable and were excited to get started! She was an excellent teacher, gave all of us opportunities to practice the techniques, and everything we made was incredibly delicious. Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know Cecilia and spend time sharing stories. She was warm, generous, passionate and funny! And to top it all off, she has the most beautiful home with stunning views of the city!

Cecelia was warm, welcoming, and a fantastic teacher! My husband and I truly enjoyed the experience and hope we can recreate the recipes at home. We loved this experience!

Cecilia was just delightful and so welcoming. Her knowledge was spot on and her hospitality was so warm. Thankyou Cecilia. I will be taking everything I have learnt back to my family, friends and my food studebts back home

We had the most wonderful time spent with Cecelia in her beautiful home in Florence. She is the sweetest, and was an amazing cooking instructor! She made it so much fun! We learned to make spinach ravioli and tiramisu! It turned out so delicious! My daughter and her friend said this was one of the best parts of our trip to Italy ! I highly recommend it !

We had the most amazing time with Cecilia. She is an incredibly generous and welcoming host who made the entire experience from start to finish an absolute joy. We learned how to make Tiramisu from scratch (our favourite desert, so no more buying it ready made for us!) and ricotta and spinach ravioli with fresh pasta. On finding out that orecchiette was my favourite type of pasta Cecilia even taught us how to make that, along with a few others, as a bonus! We then got to enjoy the fruits of our labours with some gorgeous local wine and enjoy the stunning view of Florence from the windows. This was our favourite thing that we did in Florence and was worth every penny! I cannot recommend doing this highly enough. Thank you so much Cecilia!
