Ciao da Alice!

"Sono stata sin da bambina appassionata alla cucina e al cibo, complici la nonna che amava cucinare e tutta la famiglia che ama mangiare bene. Ho deciso quindi di intraprendere una carriera universitaria nell’ambito della gastronomia. Ho affrontato un percorso multidisciplinare ed olistico che ha trattato a 360° il mondo del cibo. Amo cucinare per la mia famiglia e per gli altri, partendo dalla scelta delle ricette e dalla selezione degli ingredienti. Mi piace sperimentare e sono particolarmente appassionata alla pasticceria e ai lievitati. Faccio ricerche su antichi ricettari e chiedendo in giro, soprattutto alle signore anziane, le loro ricette di famiglia. La Sicilia, come tutta l’Italia, possiede un’eredità gastronomica inestimabile, le cui ricette e preparazioni variano di casa in casa, non solo tra città e province. Questo dà la possibilità al palato di gustare gli stessi piatti della tradizione con diversi ingredienti, tecniche e storie."

: My wife and i had a blast !!! It is a very authentic tour with the best ever street food . Alice is a marvelous guide and she came very well prepared . She even brought with her a touristic guide (Maria Chiara) that explained us the origin of many monuments in Palermo ! It's a must
: If you are wanting an authentic Sicilian meal, and want to learn how to cook it with a knowledgeable, personable, authentic Sicilian cook- then you should do this!! Highly recommend - food was outstanding, learned a LOT about Sicilian food and how to prepare it, and left stuffed!
: What a wonderful experience. Alice is a fabulous hostess and chef. Our dinner and conversation with Alice and Francesco was amazing. We loved helping prepare the pasta, which we hope to try when we get home. You made us feel like family. We will treasure the memory.
: Alice and Francisco were wonderful hosts. From tee moment we entered there abode we felt at home. The food was delicious, each of the 4 courses was a culinary masterpiece. The conversation was absorbing. The market walkthrough was informative. This was a highlight of our monthlong time in Sicily. We give this the highest rating. Thank you both for a wonderful time.
: Alice and her partner Francesco did a fantastic job and we really enjoyed the 2 evenings with them. Seasonal and natural cooking with old and traditional recipes is seldom to find and Alice and Francesco have specialized on that. We went twice and would have gone more often given the time. You find real tradition very seldom in our days. All the best to you both from Eva and Michael-back in Germany.
