Your experience

    Come and discover all the secrets of a traditional family dish in the heart of Palermo. I will teach you how to prepare a dish from start to finish, revealing all the tricks so you can then replicate it in your own kitchen for your family or friends to taste. After preparing our dish, we will sit down at the table to enjoy the dish prepared together plus another course such as a starter or a dessert that I prepared in advance. The meal will be enjoyed with a glass of Sicilian wine and lots of Sicilian warmth! Depending on the season I offer different dishes to cook and to taste. Vegetarian or vegan options are always available.

    Alice and Francesco were AMAZING!! They welcomed us (a group of 6) into their charming home for a pasta and tiramisu making class. We had such a good time, Alice and Francesco were so detailed and patient with us. We were 4 adults and 2 kids 12 and 15 years old, and it was great fun for all of us! We made cavatelli and spinach ravioli, and finished with the delicious tiramisu. I cannot wait to make these recipes in my kitchen back in the US. I highly recommend booking a class with Alice and Francesco!

    What an honour to be hosted by the wonderful and attentive Alice and her partner Francesco. This was an incredible experience to be able to learn how to make traditional Sicilian pasta from scratch in the comfort of someone’s home. We had such a wonderful night and have now learnt things we can take home and share with our loved ones. We could not recommend this more highly and it was without a doubt the best experience we had in Palermo. Also the tiramisu was unbelievably good and the pastas were the most delicious we have had during our travels.     "I was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories."
