Con questa esperienza, invito i miei ospiti a immergersi nel mondo del cinema e a gustare piatti iconici tratti da alcuni film. Non si tratta di semplici ricette regionali, ma di un viaggio attraverso l'Italia arricchito da incursioni di sapori mediorientali. Da "Pranzo di Ferragosto" a "Le Fate Ignoranti", per farvi sentire protagonisti. Nel film "Pranzo di Ferragosto", uno degli ospiti più graditi è la nostra amata pasta, che sa sempre come mettere tutti d’accordo: pasta al forno preparata con ragù classico bolognese e besciamella, il tutto ricoperto da abbondante parmigiano reggiano. Le protagoniste di "Le Fate Ignoranti" sono le polpette di carne bianca, arricchite con mela, cipolla e spezie, da gustare insieme a pomodorini confit o altre verdure di stagione.

- I specifically chose Paola because she does lasagne, and she did not disappoint. Her home is lovely and we particularly loved her garden patio for dinner. She taught us proper techniques for kneading and rolling the pasta dough, how to easily make bechamel sauce, and gave us her recipe for the ragu, and took the time to explain each ingredient. Although I have tried to make traditional lasagne at home, this was just what I needed to learn from an expert and perfect my skills. She even gave us her recipe for her amazing focaccia bread. She made the experience fun, easy, and we walked away having learned so much. If you’re coming to Bologna, I highly recommend Paola as your personal Emilia-Romagna cooking tutor!
- Highly recommend, couldn’t ask for a better host to teach us traditional pasta making. Paola is amazing. The result of our pasta and tiramisu was delicious. It was our first time ever doing something like this and the outcome surprised us.
- My husband and I went to get pasta making class….. Paola was incredible! Her house and kitchen were very clean and beautifully decorated. As a host, Paola was classy, welcoming and treated us like royalty. She was a kind, patient and funny instructor. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a blast and if we could, we would give her 20+ stars. I wish I can take her home (USA) with me because she is fun and her food is marvelous.

- What a fabulous morning spent with Paola, learning how to make tortelloni, tagliatelle and tiramisu. Paola is a wonderful teacher and very warm and welcoming. It was a fantastic hands on experience to learn how to make these dishes, and to then to sit down and enjoy them with Paola's warm hospitality, and good company from the other participants. A highlight from our visit to Bologna!
